Disney’s upcoming live-action, ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ movie casts Jude Law to portray classic Disney villain, Captain Hook. He will follow in the footsteps of live-action Captain Hooks, including Dustin Hoffman, Jason Isaacs and, most recently, Hugh Jackman in bringing the hook-handed pirate to life on the big screen.
The forthcoming live-action Peter Pan flick,Peter Pan & Wendy will be directed by David Lowery (“Pete’s Dragon”), who co-wrote the script with Toby Halbrooks, while Jim Whitaker will be producing.
Newcomer Alexander Molnoy is said to be lined up to play the titular role of Peter, while Ever Anderson (daughter of actress Milla Jovovich and director Paul W. S. Anderson) is set to play Wendy in the reimagining of the 1953 Disney movie.
Production is expected to begin this Summer in Vancouver, Canada. There is no official release date for“Peter Pan & Wendy” yet and is expected to be saved for a big-screen release, rather than heading straight for the Disney+ streaming platform.
