Sonic Film Postponed Next Year

The live action Sonic the Hedgehog film, which was set to released in November this year, has been pushed to February 14, 2020 after it’s first trailer received a wave of internet backlash for the Sonic’s look. The movie is delayed so that they can fix the titular character’s look such as the humanoid teeth of Sonic.

The movie's director, Jeff Fowler, responded on twitter to change Sonic's look, "You aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen.”
Fans who loved Sonic had to wait for years to have live action film after appearances in video games and cartoons. They would happily wait for another year if it meant that filmmakers would give them the best Sonic they would have imagined for.
