After two months in release, Avengers: Endgame is still in verge to become all time highest grossing film.With a worldwide box-office gross of over $2.78 billion, James Cameron’s Avatar is still the "highest-grossing" film. Only $37.2 million separates the two contenders. Disney will be seeking to prime the pump for at least one more final box office push by releasing an amended edition into theaters on June 28.
According to Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, “It is not an extended cut... If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises.”
For Disney’s goal to claim top of the worldwide box office, Endgame re-release need to earn $37.2 million to pass Avatar worldwide.
