Shooting has begun for Fast and Furious 9, this Monday. Vin Diesel has shared a video of him and his fellow co-star Michelle Rodriguez on his official instagram account announcing their return in the franchise. He also said that, “it feels like a miracle” to have come this far and thanks everyone who made this possible. Aside from Diesel, Tyrese Gibson and Chris “Ludacris” Bridges have also post pictures relating to the film showing their involvement but Nathalie Emmanuel was the first person from the cast to reveal that shooting has begun.
However, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson won’t be in this film. He is starring in the spin-off film of Fast and Furious franchise, Hobbs & Shaw, with Jason Statham which will released in August 2, 2019.
Director Justin Lin is back again to direct after Fast and Furious 6 (2013). He has directed four Fast and Furious films including Tokyo Drift, Fast Five.
The film is set to released in May 22, 2020.
